Random pics from June...
Look I can hold my own bottle!
And I can sit up all by myself too!
One minute Eli is sitting in his highchair playing with his cow, we turn around and see this-apparently he took out his pacifier because it's upside down and we still don't know how the cow got on top of his head! Can you say photo op. =)
This is JP's idea of helping with the laundry...
6 months...already!
06.19.08: Here we are at 6 months already! Where in the world does the time go? In addition to cereal in the a.m. an p.m. we introduced him to fruits & veggies-he enjoys all of them for the most part...not a big fan of sweet peas though. He's really got the "I open my mouth and get food" theory down-I thought this was pretty common, but I hear differently from the school so I'm thankful he is!
Elijah is sitting up well unassisted and LOVES his bouncy seat-he gets 2 to 3 feet off the ground, it is the funniest thing...I will do my best to get a video on here. He can also reach out his arms for you, which I of course think is spectacular!

JP's 1st Father's Day
After going to church that morning we took it easy and hung out at home...

I took a picture of JP's card from me, see anything wrong with it??? Yeah, I had to write in Father's Day over Birthday-I accidentally put his card down @ CVS, this was due to making sure I had all of the other Dad's a cards. If my head wasn't attached I know I would misplace it...more importantly I had a birthday card for him that worked out nicely and Eli got him a very sweet card that didn't need to be altered! =)

I helped Elijah make a cheesecake for his Daddy-we also had fresh blueberries with it, yummy!

Dad's Day Weekend
We started out Father's Day weekend in Cedar Key. My Mom and her best bud Sharon were in from New Mexico-they were here until the following Wednesday so we had lots of time to visit. We stayed Friday night and they stayed until Sunday-this was Eli's first stay in a motel, I must stay I was leery when we first arrived, but it was nice. After finding the only place in Cedar Key that serves breakfast =) we headed back to Gville to take care of some errands before going home.
That evening we had dinner over @ Darrell & Becky's-it was delicious! We had fresh tuna...they had just returned from the Keys-we always eat good over there. =)

SURPRISE Wrenda!
Here are some pics from Wrenda's Surprise Birthday party to celebrate her 30th! She was definitely surprised, thanks to Justin (her hubby) getting her there-which was her sister-in-law's home not too far from where she lives. She had lots of friends and family join her for this very special afternoon-her birthday fell on Monday, the party was the Sunday before.
For those of you who don't know this Wrenda and I have been friends since 9th grade-we have tried to keep each other out of trouble ever since then, that's easier some times than others! =) LOL

Memorial Weekend
Our weekend was packed! Saturday morning Eli and I went into Gainesville to meet up with Ericka and the kids @ Olan Mills. She had a coupon (we got a great deal) and thought the pictures would be a nice gift for Father's Day. Everyone was happy and the pictures turned out really nice-I picked mine apart, but you are your worst critic right? The pictures came in the week before Dad's Day and everyone loved their pictures. JP left when we did to pick-up Cody and head to the nursery. He had the Ranger packed full of plants and he had almost all of them planted once we got home. They look great and a special thank you to Cody for helping us out-I will post some pics of the end result, minus the mulch...we will be getting that later. I also had a break-down that afternoon....I struggled all week to keep up with what Eli needed on a day to day basis and had no more emergency bags (of breast milk) in the freezer. But I pumped day and night and seemed to have overcome....well I though so! Then I realized that I didn't put Friday's milk in the frig when I got home, 11 ounces-by then it had been out 24 hours! If I could of beat myself up I would have, I couldn't believe it! So I spent the rest of the weekend pumping and pumping and pumping-not what I had in mind for a holiday weekend, but you do what you gotta do! By Tuesday I still didn't have enough and had to supplement, not the end of the world and Eli survived-though he was quite fussy the morning after. Anyway, I haven't had to send any more since. =)
Eli had his first trip to the river, the Suwannee. He wasn't in the best mood, which is pretty rare, because he wasn't feeling well. He had just started cereal the week prior to and his system was still trying to adjust-without going into detail he felt better later that afternoon and his mood changed almost immediately! =) LOL We put in at Branford and then went to the cabin and met up with Cody, Holly, Emma, Shawn, Tracy, Billy, Lorita, Bobby and his boys-though it was a bit hectic having a cranky 5 month-old at the river, we had a good time.
Here are some pics, more to come from Holly's camera....

So much to blog about-where do I start?
As most of you can see I haven't been on here in a while, there just aren't enough hours in the day! But, remember in most cases no news is good news-we are all doing great! OK let me see where I left off....
