V-day Pics

02.02.09: Grandpa Hood dropped by to give Eli his V-day card, as you can see he loved it! :-)

02.14.09

All of this kids decorated their own shoe box for all of their V-day goodies.

He made Mommy & Daddy a very sweet card too!

This is Eli's V-day bird, isn't she a cutie? Gotta love art-work from school!

Eli's First Hair Cut

01.29.09: Sorry my posts are out of order, hey at least they are posted right? :-) Anyway after being called a little girl too many times in January we broke down and cut off the curls! :-( It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be...but it wasn't a piece of cake either!

Helping Daddy

Eli had so much fun, as you can see, helping his Daddy plant this tree! He LOVES the water and we hope he continues to love the water because he starts ISR (infant swimming resource) classes next month.

There is video that goes along with this and I will try to get it posted, he just cracks me up!

Happy 2nd Birthday Emma

Here is the purse Elijah gave to Emma for her birthday; it was so much fun to make!

Keeping Daddy busy!

Finished Projects

Now that I am working @ the quilt shop part-time I have been able to get some projects done-yeah! I can't even remember when I started this Gator bag, it was long before Eli came around, and I know Darlene was quilting full-time (way before her shop was even thought about) because she ordered the fabric just for me, at any rate it's been waiting around for the finishing strap!
Below is the quilted name plate that I started on a year ago, I am so glad to have it done and hung up-Eli's room is officially done! So what if he is 15 months old! :-) Many thanks for Momma D, I couldn't of done it without her help.

Our trip to Okeechobee

02.21.09: We finally made it down to Okee for a visit...we had been trying to since last fall. We had a great time and appreciate all of the hospitality! Eli was a trooper, even though he had the worst double ear infection as of yet! Uncle Charles and Aunt Cheryl hooked us up (no punt intended) and we stayed in their travel trailer, it was like the Hilton on wheels. The first night there Eli got sick, I mean sick, and it was all over our suite too. He was very congested which in turn made him gag which made him sick, can you say pitiful? As long as I stayed on top of his fever he did well, so that it was I did-which was mainly a problem @ night. On Saturday everyone came by Uncle Charles for dinner, we ate and visited until the kids got cranky. I thought I took more pictures than I did, but I guess not so for that I apologize.

Here we are @ Uncle Wayne & Aunt Janice's house, as you can see they have quite a few "pets!" Eli got a kick out of all of them, especially the little calf that was full of pep and jumping around.

Unlce Wayne & Eli (so sweet!)

Caught!

01.06.09: For some reason the "Playskool" wipes are packaged in such a way that Eli can't resist them! I was at school the night this played out....JP was making dinner and Eli got every quiet. He has been told "no sir" many times in the past about playing with the wipes so when his Daddy came around the corner after he pulled almost of the container out he immediately started crying before JP had the chance to even get onto him...or start laughing. :-)

Christmas Day (yes...I know it is now March)!!!

Safety first! Here Eli is reading over the directions for his new barnyard set...he is SO smart! :-)

Duck...duck...duck

12/19/08: JP got his first taste of duck hunting (thanks Darrell) and he is officially hooked!
