Last weekend...

Eli and Grandpa Hood-he paid us a visit a week ago Sunday. Eli was happy to see him!

Eli and his Great-Nanny

I think we are keeping him up...

This is my new fav pic-I just love it!

We went to WS over the weekend to see Pop-pop for his birthday, which was Sunday but because we are pretty busy on Sundays with church we decided to take him to dinner Saturday night. We had a real nice time catching up, though Pops got out of getting a pic with the baby-he's good at avoiding the camera. We will get him next time!

Just hanging out....

We've got a roller!

Eli had a big day on Tuesday-he rolled over for the very first time. We knew it was coming because he was very close to rolling over on Sunday. I told the girls @ his school to keep a close eye on him and they did. I didn't get the very first roll on film, but he did cooperate by doing it again once we got home. I promise to download the video tonight...please standby.

How did I film it you ask??? We are the proud owners of our very own Handycam thanks to Grandpa Blackstone! He did lots of research on it and even tried it out up in Ohio before sending it down. It's pretty spiffy and does lots of neat stuff-we are still learning and will be for months to come I'm sure. You can record on the internal memory, a flashdrive or DVD-neat, huh? So again THANKS a bunch!!!

Visit

Nanny and Pop-pop paid us a visit last weekend and the baby was actual awake too! Normally he is asleep the whole time they are here. As you can see she is feeling MUCH better and getting back to feeling like herself again-we are all thankful of that, she really had us worried!

I love my great-nanny!

Happy Birthday Brianna

Last weekend we made a trip over to Palatka for Brianna's birthday, Donny Ray & Cindy's little girl-she turned 3, here are some pics from the day.

Daddy changing a diaper, YES on the back of a truck-I told him to go to the car, he refused...men! :-) And yes, he has his very think changing pad underneath him.

The birthday girl trying out her new set of wheels, I guess we will start saving for one of these now-it even had a radio.

I couldn't help myself, is he and the shirt not the cutest!

Present time-can you say Dora! She received a Dora card that sang happy birthday to her and she couldn't get enough of it.

Ms. Donna helping Eli with his birthday hat-I love this pic!

LCC

Last Friday night we had our Life Connection Class (aka Sunday School) over for dinner-we had such a good turn out, 18 of us! There was lots of good food, JP was in charge of the hamburgers and I took care of the strawberry shortcake & brownies-yummy! The guys even found time to throw horse shoes-that was pretty entertaining. We all get together once a month and always have such a good time-I normally have a migraine and ab pain from laughing so hard through the night.

4 month Check-up

On Tuesday Eli went in for his 4 month check-up and shots...=(. He was a trooper and mom survived as well. He was smiling and just having a good ole time with the nurses, then they stuck him....3 times-he wasn't very happy after that. The got a "healthy baby boy" report from his ARNP who is also a certified lactation consultant-I get to address baby and nursing questions all in the same visit. Eli weighed in at 12 pounds, 15 ounces-he is in the 25th percentile for height and weight, 60th for his noggin. These are the same numbers he got @ his 3 month check-up. I can start cereal at 4 months, which officially isn't until Saturday, 4/19-but she likes for breastfed babies to wait until or as close to 6 months. I told her I would try to hold off until then, but if he continues to act interested in food we will start cereal sooner. She was happy with how he was holding his head up and how he sat upright with some assistance. He doesn't have to return until he is 6 months. I think that about wraps up the visit-here are some pics from the morning after his shots....enjoy!

No roll yet, but thinking about it!

Our little spud...

It has come to our attention that Eli really enjoys watching TV-here he is in the Bumbo my boss gave him (thanks KJ). It's become Eli's easy chair! :-)

JP taking a break from homework-he's back in school to finish up his general AA @ SFCC.

Happy 11th Birthday Christopher & Emily

The whole fam got together for the occasion-Ericka made lots of good food and 2 different delicious cakes! We had a great time visiting with everyone and they were all glad to see Eli too.
