3 years!!!

I can't believe it has already been 3 years, but it has! JP and I tied the knot on October 23, 2004-where does the time go? We went out to dinner @ Deneno's, ritzy little Italian place in downtown Alachua, it was good but I wanted to try something new and I ended up ordering something I had already tried-this was due to my short/long-term memory loss! This baby should be really smart because I don't have 1/2 the brain I used to-I hope it returns!

9 weeks to go! =0

31 weeks today-wow! Friday was my last follow-up and everything went well. The baby's heartbeat was in the 140's and I measured 31, so I'm right on track-and I gained another 5 pounds! =0 Oh well, I have gained 20 pounds total. We go back in another 3 weeks, then another 3 weeks after that but we will have another ultrasound-can't wait to see him again! Also, Dr. Amy thinks he might be head down at this point, this will be verified when we have our ultrasound @ 36 weeks.

Pumpkin time!

Here are some pics from last nights get together @ the Slaymaker's-we watched the game, ate dinner & carved pumpkins!

Oh yeah and GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GATORS-what a great game!

Furniture!

JP started to get stir crazy about mid-week, luckily for him our blinds, crib and combo changer came in so he took advantage of being @ home and got to work! He put the changer together on Thursday and the crib and blinds on Friday. Don't they look great! Mike came over to help move the futon out of the baby's room and into the spare bedroom. He then helped us get everything else into place. Now I can really get to work in there-can't wait! =)

Post-Op Day 3

JP is on his way to recovery, he had a hernia repair Monday morning and is doing much better today. The first night was rough on both of us, the second a bit better, and last night we only had to get up once. If we had a recliner I'm sure it wouldn't of been as bad, but we don't so what are you going to do, right?
It was small, but in a spot where it could get worse quickly-he has about a 4 inch incision where his abdomen meets his thigh, pretty touchy area as you can imagine. It was covered under work comp because he started hurting after running sprints at swat training. He's off work until he goes for his post-op appointment, about 14 days post-op. After that he should be able to return to work, but have a lifting limit.

7 1/2 months already!

Where in the world does the time go??? We have only 10 more weeks until we will be parents-exciting and scaring all in the same breath! I go back to the doctor tomorrow-hope I haven't gained too much since last visit, we will see though. =)
Also, not sure if I mentioned it or not but my last labs were fine-right down the middle.

Baby's Room

Per my mom's request, here is a pic of the fabric I am using in the baby's room-it's called "giddy up kids!" Too cute, huh? =) I, of course, found it at Buttons & Bows, a Quilting Boutique in downtown beautiful Alachua aka Darlene's shop.

Here's the link to their website too,

Clothes!

Our crib & changer combo are on their way, in the mean time I've been trying to get ready for them. We have been SO blessed by some many of our friends & family with clothes-here's the proof with some pics of the baby's room...also, of Nellie making sure the futon is up to par! =)

Our 1st package from Target!

Sam & Grant surprised us with our first package from our registry @ Target-here is a pic, I can't wait to see little Eli taking his first bath in his new tub and then wrapping him up in his cute robe!

Thanks a bunch! =)

Our 1st Tree

JP and Justin were busy Saturday morning-he brought over his tractor to move a pile of sand left over from our mason. After they got that moved they planted our 1st tree, it's a maple-isn't she a beaut!

While they were working outside, Wrenda and I were @ Darlene's I did 2 different embroidery projects without anything major going wrong with the laptop and/or machine-yeah! I know Darlene is SO proud, I'm thinking it's about time though! LOL =) I posted a pick of what I did for Wrenda's bag.

7 months!

Here's the latest pic for your viewing pleasure, hard to believe I am in the final trimester.

My last follow-up....

I was in to see Dr. Amy last Friday. I measured 28 and was 2 days away from the 28 day mark so that was good. We listened to little man's heartbeat which sounded great-it was around 150. I did gain another 5 pounds =0, but no worries there because I'm only 15 up total. I did have to get some blood work done to make sure my platelet count isn't low-she is concerned because I've had some nasal issues, I will leave it at that. =) I went today so I hope to hear back from then tomorrow, I'm not sure what they would do if it was low, but hopefully it won't be. Other than that we are good-to-go!
We go back in 3 weeks and started our birthing classes last night-our teacher is a hoot! Sara & David are also in our class so that was neat-Sara is about 3 weeks ahead of us and they too are having a boy. Sara and I met through her cousin @ a candle party I held and our hubby's are both ASO deputies. I think we all learned something, though it didn't get over until after 9 so I was dragging this morning getting ready for work. It seems that by the end of the week I'm pretty exhausted, one more day!
